I think Ivan is a curious cat. According to the text it said he snuck out the first night and snuggled on Rodio’s neck. It also says he looks at people with a twinkle of wonder in his eye. He also went on the front dashboard without caring what Rodeo thought.
He could be curious but I think Ivan wanted to meet Rodeo a little bit.
